UNFAZED / LEGAL

Privacy policy

What the service needs to know. And what it does not.

1. About this notice

This notice describes the UNFAZED website and customer services. For privacy questions, contact UNFAZED at support@unfazed.audio.

2. Information used

  • Account and orders: your account email, email-confirmation status and product entitlements are needed to show the correct library. Paid and free checkout references are recorded, along with the payment, refund or dispute status where applicable.
  • Sign-in and security: confirmation records, session identifiers, request times and counters help authenticate the account and prevent repeated or abusive requests. Sign-in limits use protected identifiers derived from the email address and network address. Hosting services also process request information, including IP addresses, to deliver and secure the service.
  • Activation: the product, activation and renewal times, and an identifier derived from the installation’s public key connect a license to a device. HUB saves the device credential and license information on your computer. The account and licensing service does not collect your audio or DAW project contents.
  • Email and support: delivery records help send and troubleshoot account and order emails. If you email support, we receive your address, message and any attachments you choose to send. Do not send passwords, sign-in links or full card details.

Checkout is hosted by Stripe. Stripe handles your payment details for paid orders; UNFAZED receives the order and payment-status information needed to provide your purchase, without receiving your full card number. The free ALIGN checkout does not require payment-card details.

3. Why information is used

The service uses account, order and licensing information to provide account and product access, perform purchase contracts and answer related requests. Security checks support the legitimate interest of protecting accounts and preventing misuse. Records needed for tax or other legal obligations will be retained under those obligations.

There is no newsletter signup, advertising system or advertising-cookie integration on this website. Signing in or buying a product will not, by itself, subscribe you to marketing.

4. Essential cookies and saved sign-in

Browser sign-in uses two essential cookies: __Host-uf_confirm, valid for up to 15 minutes, protects sign-in confirmation; __Host-uf_session, valid for up to seven days, keeps the account signed in. Signing out of the website invalidates that browser session and clears its cookie.

HUB can keep you signed in using credentials saved on your computer. Its renewable sign-in is separate from the website cookie and can remain connected until you sign out of HUB or the session is revoked. Signing out of the website does not sign you out of HUB.

Ordinary static pages do not set these account cookies. Blocking essential cookies prevents browser sign-in. There are no analytics or advertising cookies in the current site.

5. Service providers

Netlify hosts the website and account services. Stripe handles checkout and payment processing. Brevo delivers purchase and sign-in emails. Each provider receives the information needed to deliver its part of the service. Payment providers may also process information under their own legal responsibilities.

6. Storage and retention

Retention depends on why a record is needed. Account, product-entitlement and activation records support your continuing library access and license renewal. Order, refund and dispute records are kept as needed to establish the transaction, resolve payment questions and meet applicable legal recordkeeping duties. Support correspondence, security records and email-delivery history are kept as needed to resolve the related request or incident, prevent misuse and handle associated claims.

Sign-in confirmation credentials expire after 15 minutes, and browser sessions expire after seven days. HUB uses a separate renewable sign-in as described above. Credential expiry, signing out or inactivity does not automatically delete the underlying account, order or security records.

To request deletion, contact support@unfazed.audio. We assess which records are still needed for product access, an unresolved request or dispute, or a legal obligation, and explain any limits on deletion. Deleting information required to establish ownership or maintain an activation can affect future downloads and license renewal; we explain that effect when handling the request. Backup copies may remain until the relevant backup is replaced or removed; deletion from active records is not a promise of immediate removal from every backup.

7. Your privacy rights

Where the GDPR applies, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data, and object to relevant processing. You can withdraw consent for processing that relies on it. These rights have legal conditions; for example, a legal recordkeeping duty can limit deletion.

Send privacy requests to UNFAZED at support@unfazed.audio. When handling a request, we may ask for proportionate information to verify your identity and will respond within the applicable legal time limit. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority. EU guidance on these rights is available from the European Commission.

8. Updates to this notice

We update this notice when our services or processing practices change. Material changes are explained before the affected processing begins.
